Ben was honored at the 2017 NSW Premier’s Multicultural Media Awards at a glittering ceremony on August 31. He was the winner of the award for public interest journalism for ‘Dangerous Love,’ an article he wrote for SBS Online in 2016 on domestic violence against immigrant women.
Making the award, the Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, said:
“Your winning submission demonstrates your consistent excellence in reporting on multicultural affairs.”
